Jake is a graduate of James Madison University and has designed and installed thousands of premier landscapes with Meadows Farms over the past 20+ years. His work balances creative vision with real world practicality.
His designs integrate well-crafted patios, walls, and pathways with richly layered planting to create outdoor spaces that feel both structured and alive. He’s fluent in a wide range of garden styles, with a particular appreciation for flowing lines, natural stone, and beautiful yet low maintenance plantings.
Jake’s expert, hands-on plant knowledge sits at the heart of every design. He selects plants thoughtfully for beauty and long-term performance in the challenging Virginia climate. That passion for plants extends beyond his professional work. Jake is an avid gardener in his own “woodland tropical” yard, and that firsthand experience keeps his designs fresh, inspired, and built to thrive for many years.
