There are about 20 varieties of Rudbeckia. They are grown for their showy, daisy-type flowers, which feature a dark central eye\u2014hence the common name \u201cBlack-Eyed.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Rudbeckia &#8220;American Gold Rush&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p>American Gold Rush is a naturally compact cultivar with narrow, 2 inch wide hairy foliage. Right now, it is in bloom with gorgeous, bright, yellow-gold flowers. Here is a list of feature characteristics of American Gold Rush and the reason why I chose this perennial to highlight:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It is a very hardy, herbaceous perennial<\/li>\n<li>It was the 2023 Perennial Plant of the Year.<\/li>\n<li>Prefers planting in full to part sun.<\/li>\n<li>It will grow to be about 2\u2019 tall and about 3\u2019 wide.<\/li>\n<li>Once it starts to bloom, it will continue to bloom for an extended period of time<\/li>\n<li>You can cut the blooms and use them in various flower arrangements.<\/li>\n<li>The blooms attract bees and butterflies<\/li>\n<li>When planted properly and in a sunny location, it is easy to maintain..<\/li>\n<li>You can grow American Gold Rush in a container and will serve as your \u201cthriller\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Come see us and come see American Gold Rush.
