Good Morning. There are stepable plants that require a little shade. Now the it is July – you may want to hold off doing any planting until later this fall when we start to cool down and our soil temperature starts to cool down as well. Doug

Good Morning. And, a good question. Weed seed can blow in from anywhere all year long. So, I think you will need to resort to hand pulling the weeds. Some people have taken a herbicide and used a paint brush in order to control the herbicide and apply on the weed only. Doug
